Today on our 2016 Hyundai Elantra, we are going to show you how to install the Road Master EZ2. This is a base plate kit with removable arms, it's part number is 521632-1. Here is what our tow bar is going to look like installed and ready for use. We are ready to attach our quick disconnect or our tow bar, right to our removable arms here, hook it up, and we will be ready to head down the road. You can see we have got good safety chain connection points, so they are going to come out here, these are on quick disconnect. Not only can we take those off quickly, but also our removable arms. more

Today on this 2012 Hyundai Accent, we're going to show you part number BX2333. This is the Blue Ox Base Plate with removable arms. This is what the base plate looks like when it's installed on the vehicle. You'll notice there's a section cut out here to make room for safety chain cables to mount here, and also, here is an opening for our removable arm. There's one on each side. All I had to cut out was just one little bar going across. This is an optional breakaway switch that comes from supplemental braking system. more

Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2014 Hyundai Elantra

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Elantra, we're going to be installing the Blue Ox base plate kit with removable arms, part number BX2331. We'll begin our installation by first raising up the hood of the vehicle. With the hood up, we'll need to remove some fasteners underneath the hood here. There's a total of five fasteners that we'll need to take out. Now to remove the fasteners, we'll take a Philips head screwdriver, we'll loosen them up a little, and we'll take our trim panel removal tool or a large flat-head screwdriver and we'll pull them out the rest of the way. We'll go ahead and repeat this same process for the other four fasteners. Next, we're going to need to go into the fender well and we're going to begin here on the passenger side. We're going to need to take that bolts out right there. To remove the bolt, we're going to be using a 10mm socket. more

Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be installing the Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit with removable arms, part number 521632-1. We'll begin here by raising the hood on the vehicle. We'll go ahead and point out some hardware that well need to remove, to remove the front fascia. This will need to be done before we can do anything else. You'll notice that there are total of four locations that well need to remove, which we actually found later that the directions we're wrong and you actually do need to remove all five of these little push in fasteners up here on the top. You use a Phillips head screwdriver and either a large flat head or trim panel removal tool to take them out. The extra one thats not shown on the directions is actually all the way on the left hand side or on the driver side. That one will need to come out as well. more

Roadmaster Base Plate Installation - 2010 Hyundai Elantra

Today, on our 2010 Hyundai Elantra, we'll be installing the Roadmaster base plate mounting bracket kit part #521624-1. Now, to begin our installation, we'll need to remove the two 10 millimeter bolts that hold the air intake to the core support. We'll then remove the plastic fasteners up here. Now, we'll work our way down on the vehicle here to the front fender well on the driver side and we'll remove the eight millimeter screw that holds the corner of the facet to the fender. We'll do this on both the driver side as well as on the passenger side. We'll then work our way underneath the vehicle where we'll need to remove the three plastic fasteners on both sides. more
